We're a product studio for founders who actually ship.
Hydra Labs was started by three product engineers who were tired of agencies that ship decks, not software. Seven years later, we're still the same small team that signs every engagement and staysthrough launch.
Four rules we don't compromise on.
Ship, then polish.
A real product in hands beats aperfect product in Figma. We ship small, every sprint, and iterate on signal, not opinion.
Senior people in the room.
The same engineers who quote your project write the code. No account managers, no offshore handoffs, no "resources".
Your code is yours.
Clean repos, full docs, passing tests. We build to hand off, and train your first hires so nothing breaks after we leave.
Honest when it matters.
We will tell you when your idea is wrong, your timeline is wrong, or hiring is better than contracting. Even if we lose the deal.
Fourteen people. You meet all of them.
We're deliberately small. Small enough that the co-founders still write code on Fridays, and that every client knows everyone who touches their project by first name.

A studio, not a startup.
Three of us, one laptop, one client.
Ola, Marek, and Ania quit their jobs within a month of each other. First office was akitchen table in Mokotów. First client paid in bank transfer and bakery goods.
First Series-A launch.
Northwind took our 12-week MVP to a $12M round. We took on four more clients and stopped taking on anyone we didn't believe in.
The pandemic sprint.
Remote overnight. Kept all clients, added four more. Hired our first two engineers. Learned that Loom and Linear can replace 80% of meetings.
Employee-owned.
Dissolved the cap table and moved to employee ownership. Every person who stayspast year two gets a share of the studio.
AI, but for real.
Ania quietly started shipping production RAG stacks. A year later, half our engagements include an AI feature. We write evals before prompts.
Fourteen, and holding.
We turned down our first nine-figure client this spring. We are not a scaling business. We are the same fourteen people, getting slightly better at this each year.
